| Mumbai 28 Nov 2002:SAI Sports Hostel and Prabodhan Project lifted the overall Championship in the Male and Female group respectievely here at the 27th YMCA Annual Athletic Championship 2002 sponsored by Hindustan Lever Ltd. at University Sports Ground. |
Mumbai 22 Nov 2002: Being the first meet of the
season at the University ground the condition of the track was
excellent on the first day of the 27th YMCA Annual Athletic Championship
sponsored by Hindustan Lever Ltd. It was also the first meet for
Mahesh Shinde a putter from TMG , Thane who is competing after a
break of 2 years. He heave the put to the distance of 13.77m in
the Men's Shot Put event.
SAI boys dominated the first day by winning Boys 20 Relay event
with a big margin. Now they are leading with 32 points. Click

| Mumbai 20 Nov 2002:Top athletes including
Olympian Anand Menzes and Kavita Pandya , Ram Kumar,Kainza
Mistry ,Ayesha Billimoria had confirmed their entirs for the
27th YMCA Annula Athletic Championship. Total of 1500 Participants
from 93 Clubs will take part in the above meet. There are total
137 events in this meet. Individual championship in each group
will be given cash awards. |

| Mumbai 19 Nov 2002: Press conference will be held
at MSSA ,Azad Maidan on 20th Nov 2002 at 7 Pm. YMCA had played a
major role in Indian Athletics and in Bombay YMCA had organized
state level open athletic meet for last 26 years in succession. |

| Mumbai 19 Nov 2002 : YMCA athletic meet is also
the selection trial for Bombay athletes for the Junior State
Athletic Championship in Dec 2002. |
