Kerala Marathon 2003

Eligibility
Marathon Race is open to all adult men athletes (Age 20-40 years) and 10km race is open to all women athletes.
Technical Details
The race will be conducted through a made-up road of 2m. width on the National Higway 47. The route will be separated with traffic cones placed at intervals on the left side of the wide road from Thiruvananthapuram city to Attingal Town.
Accommodation
Free lodging will be provided to all registered out station athletes.
Prize Money
Marathon for Men
1. The winner will be awarded a gold medal and a cash of Rs. 1,00,000/- and a bonus of 10% of the prize money for the winner if he breaks the national record.

There will be cut off time at 30km. and only those Athletes who cover the distance by 2 hours can continue the race.
Those who complete the race within 3 hours will get a cash award of Rs. 500 each.
Mini Marathon for Women (10km)
1st prize- Rs. 25,000 & gold medal
2nd prize - Rs. 10,000
3rd prize Rs. 5,000
